Happy New Year ...Welcome to 2018 !!

a new journey begins....

For each person who turns and seeks God's truth, a new journey begins. These are our first steps on a continuing journey.  We know that life includes troubles.  We continue to have struggles, but walking with God means we are never alone or forgotten.  God helps, guides, and gives us grace for life.  Each of us in relationship with Him becomes a new person - imperfect but forgiven and given hope each day.

COME TO ME.....

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart,
and you will find rest for your souls.
  For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

~ Matthew 11:28-30

After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod,
Magi from the east came to Jerusalem
 and asked,
“Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews?
We saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.”

Our ACTS team continues its ongoing mission to Abington Manor to have fellowship with some of the residents. They assist the Activity Coordinators and bring the Spirit of God to those they interact with.  Please continue to pray and let them know you support them. They will be performing their mission of Good Will to the Abington Manor once a month over the next year. Thank You to Norma and Michelle for coordinating this excellent endeavor for the kids.

Our Father, who art in Heaven,
hallowed by Thy name;
Thy Kingdom come;
Thy Will be done,
on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, forever. Amen

The Great Commission

Matthew 28:16-20
English Standard Version (ESV)

16 Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. 17 And when they saw him they worshiped him, but some doubted.18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
